What is Blepharitis?

Are you bothered by itchy, red and swollen eyes? Have you also noticed that you have crusty buildup at the base of your eyelashes? If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it’s likely you have a condition called blepharitis.

Blepharitis is a condition where bacteria buildup and oily flakes occur at the base of your eyelashes. Symptoms include eyes that are red, swollen, or feel like they are burning. Blepharitis is very common, especially among people who have oily skin, dandruff or dry eyes.

There are several possible causes of blepharitis, including:

    Bacterial eyelid infection
    Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD)
    Fungal eyelid infection
    Demodex mite infestation

    Cliradex Wipes and Foam

Blepharitis is a recurring problem. In order to find lasting relief from blepharitis, you cannot rely on conventional methods as they are typically not effective at dealing with all the causes of blepharitis or only provide temporary relief. Fortunately, there’s Cliradex and Cliradex Light. They are natural, preservative-free lid, lash and facial cleansers that are safe and easy-to-use on a daily basis. Cliradex and Cliradex Light have been specially formulated to get to the root of blepharitis outbreaks.
Clean Eyes are Happy Eyes

The key to preventing ocular irritation from blepharitis is through good and effective hygiene practice.  Cliradex and Cliradex Light were developed specifically to be used as effective cleansers. What sets Cliradex apart from conventional methods is 4-Terpineol. 4-Terpineol is the most important, organic component of Tea Tree Oil and it works by helping to keep eyelids clean and healthy while providing a cooling sensation after use.

Vision Source London is now carrying Cliradex products not only to help people who are fighting current outbreaks of blepharitis, but also to make sure people have access to proven products that are designed to be used every day to prevent future outbreaks from occurring. The “one-two combo” of Cliradex Natural Eyelid Wipes and Cliradex Light Foam is used to maintain good eyelid hygiene.

Cliradex Natural Eyelid Wipes: Cliradex Facial Wipes are the result of more than 20 years of research into ocular surface diseases. Cliradex Natural Eyelid Wipes contain a stronger formulation designed to target more severe blepharitis symptoms and to help you find escape from the frustration of ocular irritation.

Cliradex Light Foam Cleanser:  Cliradex Light helps maintain good ocular hygiene.  Cliradex Light is ideal for mild-to-moderate blepharitis symptoms and is perfect for maintenance to prevent future outbreaks. This eyelid foaming cleanser was specially formulated to promote clean ocular surfaces and maintain clean eyelids, using a modified version of the same patented Cliradex formula which makes our facial wipes so effective. Cliradex Light can also be used after Cliradex eye wipes have taken care of the initial outbreak in more severe cases.  Cliradex Lite from Dr Morris

Used in combination, Cliradex and Cliradex Light can provide relief to anyone suffering from blepharitis and help prevent future issues.
